Industrial Accident Claims Life Of Union City Man

Union City, Tenn.–Funeral services have been set for a Union City man who was killed in an industrial accident Friday.

Services will be held for Brandon Scott Hodges at Edmaiston-Mosley Funeral Home today. Burial will take place at Union Cemetery in Fulton. He was 37.

Hodges was reportedly working on the roof of the former Hickman Pipe and Tube Plant in Hickman and fell through a skylight. A second person also was injured by falling through a skylight and was airlifted to an area hospital.

Hickman Police are continuing the investigation.

Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Monday in the chapel of Edmaiston-Mosley Funeral Home. Elder Kevin Maben will officiate. Burial will follow in Union Cemetery near Fulton, Kentucky.

Pallbearers will be Stephanie Turnbow, Chris Turnbow, Chad Turnbow, Kelly Cole, Lucas French and Nigel Maben.

Visitation will be held at Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home from 11:00 a.m. until the hour of services Monday.

Brandon was born October 16, 1985, in Mayfield, Kentucky, son of Donnie and Melissa (Cole) Hodges of Union City. He was employed by Tyson Foods in Union City. Brandon attended Faith & Deliverance Full Gospel Tabernacle in South Fulton and was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan.
