Mr. Jimmy Wayne Johnson, 66, of Kenton, passed away Tuesday, November 1, 2022, at his home.
Jimmy was born Sunday, December 4, 1955, in Union City, son of Valrie (Owens) Johnson of Union City and the late Jimmy Lee Johnson. He was preceded in death by his son: Jimmy Lee Johnson; and an infant daughter.
He had been employed at the former Gurien Finishing Company and as a self employed painter. Jimmy was a member of Healing Faith Family Worship Center in Union City and had served in the United States Army.
He married Gennese (Butler) Johnson. She survives.
He is also survived by one sister: Gail Johnson, of Union City; one brother: Dale Johnson, of Kenton; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Memorial services will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 9, 2022, at Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home. Pastor Shane Long will officiate.
Visitation will be held at Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home from 11:00 a.m. until the hour of services Wednesday.
