Billy Dale Hicks, 78, of Mansfield, Tennessee, died Monday, October 31, 2022, at his residence.
He was born June 13, 1944, in Mansfield, Tennessee to Thelan Elbert Hicks and Mary Elizabeth Ford Hicks, who both preceded him in death. He was preceded in death by his sister: Willene Berkley.
Billy Dale Hicks was a veteran of the United States Army. He retired from the Henry Co. Sheriff’s Department after over 20 years of service. Prior to the sheriff’s department, Billy Dale worked for Celotex as an electrician. He loved his family and friends.
He married Mary Beth Andrews Allen Hicks, of Mansfield, Tennessee, Wednesday, June 16, 1976.
He is also survived by his daughter: Barbara Anne Hicks, of Nashville, Tennessee; son: Matthew Lynn Allen, of Mansfield, Tennessee; grandchildren: Alaina Barnett, Devan Barnett, and Jackson Allen.
