
Virginia Ann Redden, 88, of Paris, Tennessee, died Thursday, October 13, 2022, at Jackson-Madison County General Hospital in Jackson, Tennessee.
Virginia was born Sunday, February 18, 1934, in Big Sandy, Tennessee, to the late Edgar Gaylon DeBruce and the late Annie Lee Hollingsworth DeBruce.
She retired as the co-owner of Redden Dental Lab in Paris. She also formerly worked for Atkins-Porter School in the Paris Special School District where she served as a teacher’s assistant. Virginia loved her family very much, especially her grandsons. She was a member of New Harmony Baptist Church in Paris.
She was married Friday, March 20, 1953, to Billy Alfred Redden, who preceded her in death Saturday, August 25, 2001. In addition to her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by one sister: Sarah Juanita Bomar.
She is survived by her three daughters: Deborrah Ann Emerson, of Paris, Jennifer Colise Redden, of Paris, and Stephanie (Robert) Bryson, of Powell, Tennessee; and two grandchildren: Cameron Bryson and Conner Bryson, both of Powell, Tennessee.
Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap Street/PO Box 788, Paris, Tennessee, 38242. Visitation will be Monday, October 17, 2022, from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. at Ridgeway Funeral Home, with the funeral service beginning at 1:00 p.m. at Ridgeway Funeral Home.
Cremation will follow the service.
The burial of the cremains will take place at a later date in Memorial Cemetery in Paris, Tennessee.
