Larry T. Raines, 73, of Buchanan, Tennessee, formerly of Puryear, died Thursday, October 13, 2022, at his residence.
Mr. Raines was born Sunday, June 19, 1949, in Paris, Tennessee.
Mr. Raines was a longtime member of Birds Creek Baptist Church. He was a U.S. Army Veteran, serving in Korea during the Viet Nam conflict. He loved camping, fishing and the outdoors. Larry also loved his family and most especially his grandchildren.
He married Patsy Hunter Raines, of Buchanan, Tennessee, who survives, Thursday, Oct. 1, 1970.
He is also survived by his daughter: Patricia Ramirez, of McEwen, Tennessee; sons: Jason (Natalie) Raines, of Paris, Tennessee, grandchildren: Kayle Raines, Emily Raines, Ava Raines, and Londyn Raines; Amanda Patrum, and Selena Ramirez, six great-grandchildren; and numerous cousins and other family members.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 6:00 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 27, 2022, at Birds Creek Baptist Church, with Bro. Kevin Gallimore, of Birds Creek Baptist Church. Visitation will be after 4:00 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 27 until service time at 6:00 p.m.
