Longtime seamstress, Mary Ruth Duncan, 84, of Buchanan, Tennessee, died Wednesday, September 28, 2022, at AHC of Paris.
Mary Ruth was born Sunday, November 21, 1937, in Flatwoods, Tennessee, to the late Willard Keeling and the late Eddie Keeling.
She was a member of First United Methodist Church of Flatwoods, Tennessee. Mary Ruth loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She loved her dogs, Jake & Marvin.
She was married Sunday, April 22, 1956, to Daniel Grady Duncan, who preceded her in death Sunday, September 9, 2012.
She is survived by two sons: Danny W. (Victoria) Duncan, of Baytown, Texas, and Dennis E. (Beverly) Duncan, of Buchanan, Tennessee; one sister: Wilma Landers, of Linden, Tennessee; one brother: Wilford Keeling, of Waverly, Tennessee; six grandchildren: Ben (Leslie) Duncan, Samantha Duncan (Logan) Carson, Diana Lynn (Cody) Langenstein, Eric (Brittany) Duncan, Hillary Paige Duncan, and Hannah Ruth Duncan; and six great-grandchildren, Evan Andrew Langenstein, Emma Grace Langenstein, Edwin Cooper Duncan, Eli Ross Duncan, Luke Duncan, and Samuel Lucas Carson
In addition to her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by one brother: William “Bill” Keeling.
Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap Street/PO Box 788, Paris, Tennessee, 38242. Visitation will be Saturday, October 1, 2022, from 12:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. at Ridgeway Funeral Home, with the funeral service beginning at 2:00 p.m. at Ridgeway Funeral Home with Zeke Penick officiating.
Serving as pallbearers will be Dakota Robertson, Ethan McGee, Jodi Todd, Jordan Alton, and Ben Duncan.
Burial will be in Hillcrest Memorial Park in Paris, Tennessee.
