WACO, Texas – For the second straight week, the University of Tennessee at Martin has checked in at No. 9 in the National Collegiate Equestrian Association top-10 poll.

The only change in this week’s poll was TCU and Texas A&M flipping spots to No. 2 and No. 3, respectively. Oklahoma State remains No. 1 while the final seven spots (No. 4 SMU, No. 5 Georgia, No. 6 Auburn, No. 7 Baylor, No. 8 Fresno State, No. 9 UT Martin and No. 10 South Carolina) are entrenched in their previous positions.

The Skyhawks have now appeared in 11 of the last 12 NCEA top-10 polls dating back to the start of last season. Since the NCEA began its ranking system in 2012, UT Martin has been ranked 55 times in 143 instances – registering at least one weekly rank in eight of 11 seasons.

The Skyhawks are one of six top-10 squads who will make their season debut this week as UT Martin plays host to Dartmouth on Saturday, Oct. 1. The meet starts at 10 a.m. at the Ned McWherter Agricultural Pavilion.
