Funeral services for Dwayne W. Matlock, 85, is Thursday, September 29, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. at Brummitt McKenzie Funeral Home. The family will receive friends Thursday at 11:00 a.m. until service time. Interment will follow at Mt Olivet Cemetery.
Mr. Matlock, was born in Carroll County, Tennessee, Tuesday, September 16, 1947, to Wiley F and Rosa Lee Langley Matlock. He is preceded in death by his wife of over 50 years: Peggy H. Matlock and brother William Matlock.
He worked for Pepsi Bottling Company in Memphis for 20 years.
He is survived by his daughters: Carolyn Hedge (Tim), of Dukedom, Shelby Price, of Dresden, Rose Green, of Memphis, and Gloria Phillips, of Memphis; a brother: Jerry Matlock, of McKenzie; and sisters: Fay Hartsler, of McKenzie, Dorothy Sue Horton, of Huntingdon, and Janice Bartholomew, of Tulsa, Oklahoma; seven grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren.
