Janet Sue Crouch

Janet Sue Crouch, 56 of Paris, Tennessee, died Tuesday, September 20, 2022, at TriStar Centennial Hospital in Nashville, Tennessee.

Janet attended the Open Doors Community Church before her health declined. She was an avid Tennessee Titans fan and enjoyed just being around people. Spending time with her family, especially her pets and grandchildren were priorities in her life.

Janet was born Wednesday, October 6, 1965, in Elgin, Illinois, to the late Tom Benham and the late Bonnie Potter Benham. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by two brothers: Jack Gordon and Rick Gordan.

She was married in February 1997 to Michael “Mike” Crouch, who survives, of Paris, Tennessee.

Along with her husband, she is also survived by two daughters: Nicole Potirala Tozzi and Kaitlyn (Jared) Cotton, both of Paris, Tennessee; two sons: Matthew (Megan) Crouch, of Auburn, Alabama, and Jacob Crouch, of Nashville, Tennessee; one brother: Tim Benham, of Paris, Tennessee; two granddaughters: Bryleigh Mitchell and Brieyana Tozzi; and two special friends: Tina Lofton and Mike Potirala, both of Paris, Tennessee.

Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap Street/PO Box 788, Paris, Tennessee, 38242.  Visitation will be Friday, September 23, 2022, from 4:00 pm – 7:00 p.m. and Saturday, September 24, 2022, from 10:00 a.m. until service time at Ridgeway Funeral Home, the funeral service will begin at 11:00 am at Ridgeway Funeral Home with Chad Kennedy officiating.

Cremation will follow the service.

In honor of Janet, memorials may be made to any animal shelter of the donor’s choosing.
