Ms. Peggy Ann Nolen, 77, of Cumberland City, Tennessee, passed away Wednesday, September 14, 2022 at her residence.
She was born Wednesday, January 24, 1945, the beloved daughter of the late Charles LeRoy and Earline Milliken. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband: Donnie Jess Nolen; brothers: Charlie, Maxi, Lewis and Zannie Milliken; sisters: Nettie Heflin, Betty Summers, Jean Austin and Ocie Tyson.
Peggy was a loving and caring wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend to many. She enjoyed cooking for her family and having everyone together. She was always faithful in church. As a child she attended Dunbar Chapel Freewill Baptist Church in Indian Mound, Tennessee. As an adult, she attended Paul’s Chapel Methodist Church in Cumberland City, TN.
She is survived her devoted daughter: Lisa Nolen Hall, of Cumberland City; loving grandson:, Dustin Lewis, of Cumberland City, Tennessee and sister: Donna Reed, of Tennessee Ridge, Tennessee.
Visitation will be Friday, September 16, 2022, at Anglin Funeral Home from 4:30 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Visitation will resume Saturday, September 17, 2022 at 9:00 a.m. and continue until the hour of the funeral service at 12:00 p.m. at Anglin Funeral Home with Bro. Garrette Milliken. Burial will follow at Stewart County Memorial Gardens, Dover, Tennessee. Those serving as pallbearers are Danny Dye, Mark Milliken, Mark Zane Milliken, Terry Jones, Cole Jones and Dustin Lewis.
