Sue Frances Medlock, 74, of Paris, Tennessee, died Thursday, September 1, 2022, at her residence.
Sue was born Friday, February 9, 1940, in Paris, Tennessee, to the late Dennis Crawford Wimberley and the late Mary Bell Atchison Wimberley.
She was a homemaker and member of Bethany Baptist Church in Paris. Sue enjoyed her time as a military wife while Bob was in the U.S. Air Force. She enjoyed her church and visiting with people.
She was married Sunday, January 26, 1958, to Robert “Bob” Glyn Medlock, who preceded her in death Thursday, September 11, 2014. In addition to her parents and husband, she was also preceded in death by one sister: Helen Marie Farmer; and one brother: Thomas Andrew Wimberley.
She is survived by her daughter: Yong Medlock (Chris) Huffstetler, of Bartlett, Tennessee; her son: Glen D. (Annette) Medlock, of Lake Charles, Louisiana; five grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap Street/PO Box 788, Paris, Tennessee, 38242. Visitation will be Tuesday, September 6, 2022, from 11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. at Ridgeway Funeral Home, with the funeral service beginning at 1:00 p.m. at Ridgeway Funeral Home with Johnny Farmer officiating.
Serving as pallbearers will be Steve Farmer, Rusty Farmer, Jody Farmer, Jimmy Keith Van Dyke, and Robert Medlock.
Burial will be in Jones Chapel Cemetery in Paris, Tennessee.
