
Dresden, Tenn.–Dresden Firefighters saved the family pets, even utilizing pet oxygen masks to revive them, after a structure fire Tuesday.
The Dresden Fire Department was called to the structure fire on Maple Street Tuesday afternoon.
Upon arrival heavy smoke and some flames were showing from the second story. Personnel made a quick interior attack and extinguished the fire. In the process family pets where located on the second floor and removed from the structure.
Pet Oxygen Masks were utilized from Engine 1 to assist the animals to be able to breathe easier from the smoke they had inhaled. No injuries to the occupants or fire personnel.
