Union City, Tenn.–Obion County Schools is so thankful to have teachers that love the sunny days with cooler temperatures and recognize that their students would love those days too. These feel-good days can turn into the best days when our teachers turn the outdoor areas of our schools into their outdoor classrooms.
Sarah Hester, a fifth-grade teacher at Lake Road Elementary, took advantage of the cooler weather, teaching her class outside. Her students were able to re-engage due to a change of scenery and enjoy some fresh air all while reading “The Birchbark House.”
