Parent Nights are scheduled for both Union City Elementary School and UC Middle School.
At UCES, parents of students in 1st and 3rd grades are invited to attend a meeting Tuesday at 6 p.m. Parents will have the opportunity to get acquainted with their child’s teacher and hear of schedules, special events, and class expectations for the 2022-23 school year.
Parents of students in the 2nd and 4th grades will have the same opportunity on Thursday night at 6.
Doors at UC Elementary School will open at 5:45 p.m. each evening.
Parents of Pre-K students at UCES will meet on Aug. 29 at 6 p.m.
Union City Middle School will host a Parents Night on Aug. 29 at 6:30.
Adults will go through an abbreviated schedule of their students’ day and have the opportunity to ask questions of faculty members.
A meeting for anyone interested in serving with the school’s PTO organization will be held immediately afterward.
Principal Lance Morgan said the event is expected to last little more than an hour.
As previously announced, Union City High School will host a College and Career Planning Night for members of the Class of 2023 Wednesday night at 7:30 at the UC Civic Auditorium.
UCHS Guidance Counselor Susan Searcy said it is important for both the senior student and one parent to attend the meeting.
Searcy may be reached for further questions at searcys@ucboe.net or by calling the high school at 885-2373.
