Paris, Tenn.–Long-time Henry County Agriculture Teacher Laura Moss has been named the 2022 National Teacher Mentor for Region V.
In March, Moss received the 2022 Tennessee Teacher Mentor award by the Tennessee Association of Agriculture Educators.
Moss said she is proud and humbled by the award, which she will accept in person at the National Association of Agriculture Educators Convention in Las Vegas November 29-December 3.
She explained that the National Association picks one winner per region for national region. She said Region V includes Tennessee, North Carolina, South Carolina, Florida, Alabama, Mississippi and Puerto Rico.
The award recognizes work by those in providing mentoring opportunities for new agriculture teachers.
Moss is starting her 12th year as an agriculture educator. She is a teacher at the high school and the FFA Advisor.
