Kentucky Governor Andy Beshear delivered the ceremonial check for the $4,650,880 grant to Gibson Electric Membership Corporation for its broadband program.
The grant was awarded through the Kentucky Broadband Deployment Program and will help fund the $15M broadband infrastructure project to make high-speed, fiber-based internet service available to all eligible Gibson EMC member-owners in Fulton, Hickman, Carlisle and Graves counties in Kentucky.
