
Paris, Tenn.–Henry County Food Bank volunteers will be conducting a virtual food drive at Kroger this weekend, Friday, Saturday and Sunday July 15-17.
Food Bank officials said in summer, families’ needs are greater when kids are home and not receiving school meals.
“Please help us fill the summer nourishment gap,” they said.
Just ask the cashier for a Kroger gift card for Henry County Food Bank. (No amount is too small). The cashier will keep the card.
Volunteers will go to Kroger on Monday July18 th to buy the most
essential fresh items: eggs, milk, yogurt, produce, crackers,
bread, butter, lunch meat, hot dogs. (Plus a few treats for the
youngsters.)
