Early voting in Tennessee for the August 4 state and county general election begins Friday, July 15 and runs through Saturday, July 30.

In Henry County, there will be two locations where voters can cast their ballots during the early voting period: at the Henry County Elections Commission office and at TCAT in Paris.

Elections Administrator Delaina Green said early voting hours at the Elections Commission office are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and Saturday, July 16 and 23rd, 9 a.m. to noon, and July 30, 9-4.

At TCAT, hours are Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

The Elections Commission office is located at 215B Grove Blvd. (former Weston Hall) and TCAT is located at 312 S. Wilson St. (across from the high school). At TCAT, the early voting entrance is at the back of the building. Green said there will be plenty of signs for people to find where they should go.

TCAT has been added as an early voting location for this election as a required test of the county’s plan to implement voting centers in the future.

In Obion County, early voting will be happening only at the Elections Commission office at 308 Bill Burnett Circle, Union City. Hours are from Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
