
According to the TBI, a cash reward is being offered for pertinent information that leads to the identification of whoever may be behind a series of fires that have occurred in Waverly and Humphreys County during the last month.
There have been seven fires since June 13th, most of which are suspicious in nature. Among the buildings that have been damaged or destroyed are a church, Masonic Lodge, old fire hall, and vacant house.
If you have information or have seen suspicious activity surrounding fires in Waverly within the last month, call the Arson Hotline at 1-800-762-3017. Awards up to $5-thousand may be paid for pertinent information which leads to the identification of any person committing or procuring arson.
