Cottage Grove, Tenn.–Cottage Grove Volunteer firefighters extinguished a brush fire on Hwy. 69N Wednesday afternoon. When they arrived, the side of the road in the 7000 block was on fire and it was spreading into a hay field and kudzu patch.
