
Sarah May Frances Evans Mustain, 87, of Paris, Tennessee, died Monday, July 4, 2022, at NHC Milan.
She was born Thursday, November 29, 1934, in Henry County, Tennessee to Porter L. Evans, Sr. and Elly Maybelle Burcham Evans, who both preceded her in death.
Mrs. Mustain was a longtime active member of Temple Baptist Church. She worked and retired from Salant & Salant with twenty-one years of service.
She married John D. Mustain Friday, February 27, 1953. He preceded her in death Sunday, October 12, 1997. She was also preceded in death by her step-son Jerry Mustain and two brothers: R.C. Evans and Porter L. Evans, Jr., preceded.
Mrs. Mustain is survived by her daughters: Carol (Thomas) Tull, of Paris, Tennessee, Brenda (Jerry) Cunningham, of Bradford, Tennessee and step-daughter: Barbara Page, of Paris, Tennessee; her step-son: Billy Mustain, of Pineville, Louisiana; her sister: Sue Carlton, of Paris, Tennessee; her brothers: Jessie Evans, of Puryear, Tennessee, and Lynn Evans, of McKenzie, Tennessee; three grandchildren: Tommy Tull, Rachel Baggett, and Jon Tull; and nine great-grandchildren. She is also survived by numerous step grandchildren and step great grandchildren, other family and friends.
Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, July 9, 2022, at McEvoy Funeral Home, with Otis Hinton officiating. Burial will be at Hillcrest Memorial Park Cemetery.
Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. until funeral service time at the funeral home.
