
James “Jamie” Stringer, 56, of Kenton, passed away at 4:58 p.m. Monday, June 27, 2022, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Union City.
James was born March 8, 1966, in Lansing, Michigan, son of Sandy (Chapman) Stringer of Bradford and the late James Michael Stringer. James was a 1985 graduate of Union City High School. He was employed as a fork lift operator for McLean Fogg in Trenton. James enjoyed building and repairing cars.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by one son, James Stringer of Hernando, Mississippi; one daughter and son-in-law, Kayla and Jeremy Ross of Dover; one sister and brother-in-law, Tammy and Rodney Workman of Fruitland; one brother and sister-in-law, Joedy and Jenny Stringer of Milan; seven grandchildren, Haylee Cross, Eben Cross, Lucas Ross, Kinsley Ross, Elijah Ross and Oliver Ross all of Dover and Raylynn Harrington of Decaturville; and his niece and nephews, Jesse Stringer and Jaxon Stringer both of Milan and Austin Workman of Fruitland.
He was also preceded in death by one grandson, Aiden Blaze Stringer.
Funeral services will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, July 5, 2022, in the chapel of Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Brock’s Cemetery in Greenfield.
Visitation will be held at Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home from 11:00 a.m. until the hour of services Tuesday, July 5, 2022.
