Paris, TN – TVA is requesting consumers to reduce their power consumption today Wednesday,
June 22, 2022, from 12:00 to 8:00 pm as the heat index increasingly rises. Both TVA and Paris BPU are
participating in this power reduction within our facilities.
Paris BPU President and CEO Terry Wimberley said, “We encourage consumers and businesses to
help conserve their usage during these hours to maintain a safe and continuous distribution of power.”
Paris BPU appreciates all who willingly contribute to this power reduction, and will continue to
provide communication updates and reminders accordingly.
