
Union City, Tenn.–A Union City man was sentenced to 25 years in prison for the stabbing death of a UTM student in 2019.
Tony Markee Mosley, age 34, was earlier found guilty by an Obion County Circuit Court jury of second-degree murder in the death of DeCora Alexander of South Fulton. She was 20 years old. The jury found him not guilty of first-degree murder and abuse of a corpse.
At a hearing Monday, Judge Jeff Parham sentenced Mosley to 25 years in prison.
DeCora Alexander was a member of the Skyhawks Dance Team. Her body was discovered at Mosely’s home.

Mosley was represented in the trial by Public Defender Joe Atnip and District Attorney General Tommy Thomas appeared for the state.
