Mrs. Annis Ray Earhart, 83 of Maryville, Illinois, passed away Saturday, June 18, 2022, at Liberty Village of Maryville, Illinois.
Annis was known for her love of gospel music, playing the piano, going to church, Christmas morning, family gatherings and playing crazy rummy. She was loved by so many and throughout her many relationships, she carried many titles such as wife, mom, granny, great granny, “OA”, friend, sister, aunt, cousin and many more. Each of these titles carries deeply rooted and fond memories that each of us will carry as we continue to celebrate her life.
She was born Monday, August 29, 1938, in Stewart County, Tennessee, daughter of the late David Coleman Brumley and Mattie Ethelene Heflin Brumley.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her son: Timothy James Dennis, her first husband: James Roger Dennis, second husband: Charles Earhart, sisters: Mavis Olene Dennis and Mary Ethelene Carney.
She is survived by her children: Timothy James Dennis, Collinsville, Illinois, Vickie Ann Bagi, Granite City, Illinois, Donna Lynn Claypool (Kevin), Collinsville, Illinois, grandchildren: Jerret Bagi, Ashley Evans (Wes), Kevin Claypool, Jr. (Daniel), and great grandchildren: Jordan Evans and Jackson Evans.
Visitation will be Wednesday, June 22, 2022 from 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. at Anglin Funeral Home. The funeral service will be at 12:00 p.m. Wednesday at Anglin Funeral Home with Bro. Mike Allen officiating. Burial will follow in the Green Cemetery. Pallbearers will be family and friends.
