
Huntingdon, Tenn.–The Shepherd’s Table returns to inside dining this month. THe community kitchen located in Huntingdon now serves meals twice monthly at the original location, First Presbyterian Church located at 19835 E.Main Street, on both the 3rd and 4th Tuesdays. Meals are served restaurant style with drive-through available from 5 until 7 p.m.. It is open to the public and there is no cost. All are invited.
This month’s meal will be fried chicken, potato salad and green beans on the 21st, and spaghetti and salad on the 28th. all served with delicious dessert.
Food scarcity is real and the Shepherd’s Table success is dependent on the support of volunteers and donations. The meals are prepared by volunteer staff hosted by different congregations in our town and donated by local businesses. Our towns community kitchen was created by a group of volunteers that saw the need in the Carroll County community. They are scheduling the 2022 calendar.
