Mr. Billy Thomas Brown, 82, died at his residence Sunday, June 12, 2022.
He was born in Henry on Friday, July 14, 1939, to Irvin and Annie Hamlin Brown. He is preceded in death by his parents, a son Mark Thomas Brown, two brothers Glen Brown and Jimmy Brown and a sister Betty Ruth Revel.
He was the owner/ operator of Kerr McGee in McKenzie and retired from Allsteal in Milan. He is a member of McKenzie Church of Christ, and also served as a deacon at the church.
He is survived by his wife of 64 years: Joan Argo Brown, a son Mike (Lorrie) Brown, three grandsons Chad (Josie) Brown, Beau (Callie) Brown and Drew (Kelsey) Brown and eight great grandchildren: Cole, Ace, Lane, Jace, Jaylin, Stella, Rhett and Ripken.
Funeral services for will be held Wednesday, June 15, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at McKenzie Church of Christ. Interment is at Mt. Olivet Cemetery and the officiants are Brother John Forgy and Brother Chance Steen.
The family will receive friends Tuesday, June 14, 2022 at 5:00 p.m. -7:00 p.m. and on Wednesday, 11:00 am until service time all at the church.
