Mrs. Janice Faye King, 65, of Hornbeak, passed away 3:38 a.m. Wednesday, June 8, 2022, at her daughter’s home in Union City.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Friday in the chapel of Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home. Brother Mike Davis will officiate. Burial will follow in East View Cemetery
Visitation will be held at Edmaiston Mosley Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. Thursday.
Pallbearers will be Chase Wallace, Chad Wheatley, James Stewart, Blake Walton, Jerry Gammons and Don McClain.
Janice was born March 5, 1957, in Gratio, daughter of the late Loyd Gammons and Vernell (Sampson) Gammons of Union City. She married Paul W. King May 30, 2008. He survives. She worked as a certified nursing assistant for 30 years at Golden Living Center in Union City and was of the Baptist faith.
She is also survived by two daughters, Valeria Allen of Tiptonville and Chelsee McClain (Justin) of Union City; six grandchildren, Caleb McClain of Union City; Conner McClain of Union City; Caley McClain of Union City; Jacob Rushing of Hickman, Kentucky; Hunter Allen of Martinsville, Indiana and Shelby Allen of Union City; two great grandchildren, Parker Rice and Zella Rice both of Union City; three sisters, Elisha Wheatley of Union City, Tammy Wallace of Martin and Penny Walton of Troy; and two brothers, Danny Gammons and Mike Gammons both of Union City.
