Union City, Tenn.–Two dozen Union City Elementary School students were recently recognized for having perfect attendance for the 2021-22 school year.
Fourth-grader Brayson Smith received special mention for having had had perfect attendance for five years — since beginning Kindergarten at UCES in 2017.
Brayson received a $100 gift card for his daily commitment to his education from Principal Allison Palmer.
Four other UC Elementary School students were celebrated for perfect attendance in back-to-back years. They included Clara Elliott, Jade Andrews, Brayden Andrews, and Alan Martinez.
Among those not missing a single day in the 2021-22 school year were:
