
Paris, Tenn.–The suspect in a shooting in Paris last week has been apprehended and is being held at the Henry Co. Jail on $250,000 bond.
The Henry County Sheriff’s Office arrested Dalton T. Bennett, age 21, of Paris, charging him with attempted second degree murder. Bennett was arrested by Deputy Sgt. Gary Carroll.
Paris Assistant Police Chief Ean Reed said last week that Bennett was the suspect in the shooting that occurred last Wednesday at a Williams St. home. The victim was taken to the Henry County Medical Center and treated for non-life-threatening injuries.
Bennett will appear in Henry County General Sessions Court June 9.
