UC Schools Summer Sessions Start Tuesday

Union City, Tenn.–Summer School sessions begin Tuesday in the Union City School System.

Classes will be held on each of the three UC Schools campuses during June. As always — with the cooperation of the Union City Police Department and Chief Ben Yates — a full-time SRO (School Resource Officer) will be on hand to ensure school safety for students and teachers.

The popular Camp Rock series at UC Elementary School will begin Tuesday and run through Friday of this week. Classes and activities will then take place Monday through Thursday for three weeks, starting June 6.

Classes will begin at 8 a.m. and dismiss at 2:30 p.m.

Breakfast and lunch will be provided to students.

Those Union City High School students who qualified for credit recovery will meet from 7 a.m. until 4 p.m. each day at the school, beginning Tuesday and running through June 14.

Students must provide their own meals.

Summer School at UC Middle School will run from 8 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. Tuesday through Friday of this week and then Monday through Thursday beginning June 6. Transportation will be provided.

Classes will last until June 24.

Students who qualified received a letter from Principal Lance Morgan and were required to submit a response.

Breakfast and lunch will be provided.
