
Mrs. Nancy Carolyn Threatt, 77, of Indian Mound, Tennessee, passed away at Tennova Medical Center, Clarksville, Tennessee with her loving family by her side.
She was born in Stewart County, Tennessee, the beloved daughter of the late Dewey and Naomi Grizzard Burkhart. Carolyn was a homemaker and worked at Ely Walker, The Leaf Chronicle and North Stewart Elementary. She was a member at Rose Valley Methodist Church. She always had a warm smile and kind word for everyone. She was willing to lend a helping hand to her family and friends. She was a loving daughter, wife, sister, aunt and friend to many.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her beloved husband, of 57 years who passed away in 2019, Jimmie Lee Threatt; brother: James H. Burkhart; sisters: Janie Travis, Florence May Shepherd, Betty Turner and Ora Lee McGovern.
She is survived by her brothers, Leon (Debbie) Burkhart of Jonesboro, Arkansas; Donnie (Jane) Burkhart, of Dover, Tennessee; sister, Wanda (Joe) Coleman, of Indian Mound, Tennessee and numerous nieces and nephews.
Monday, May 23, 2022, visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. at Anglin Funeral Home. The funeral service will be Monday, May 23, 2022, at 2:00 p.m. at Anglin Funeral Home, with Bro. Bruce Cunningham officiating. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery, Indian Mound, Tennessee. Those serving as pallbearers are Lewis Shepherd Jr., Donnie Burkhart Jr., Ryan Cook, Mikayla Jackson, Christopher Watters, and Jacob Watters.
