Mansfield, Tenn.–A driver was miraculously uninjured when his car burst into flames when it wrecked on Travis Boyd Road in Henry County Thursday.
Mansfield Volunteer firefighters responded to the scene of the car wreck yesterday around 4:30 pm and found the vehicle ablaze.
Mansfield Assistant Fire Chief Darren Webb told RadioNWTN, “The driver was not injured, luckily, and he was out of the car, able to walk on his own” when firefighters arrived.
Webb said it appeared the vehicle ran off the roadway and crashed when the driver overcorrected. “The fuel line in the car was ruptured when he crashed,” he said.
All Mansfield units were called to the accident scene and the Henry County Sheriff’s Office provided assistance.
