
Four Henry County students received awards at the University of Tennessee at Martin’s annual Honors Day Ceremony on May 1.
- Graci Ellis, of Henry, received the Outstanding Natural Resource Management Student Award. The award is given by the College of Agriculture and Applied Sciences.
- Madeleine Griffey, of Paris, received the Lower Division Chemistry Award. The award is given by the Department of Chemistry and Physics.
- Robin Hamm, of Paris, received the Outstanding Interdisciplinary Studies Student Award. The award is given by the College of Education, Health, and Behavioral Sciences.
- Will Powers, of Paris, received the CT Hill Percussion Award. The award is presented by the Department of Music to a music major specializing in percussion that has demonstrated academic excellence, a positive attitude and a commitment to community service.
