
Dover, Tenn.–The Stewart County Sheriff’s Office, after a lengthy investigation, charged four individuals including the owner of MiMi’s Daycare on Peachers Lane on Thursday May 5th.
In a press release, Sheriff Frankie Gray said an investigation began after complaints were filed by parents.
Investigator Lee Miller and Dana Saltkill determined that the daycare was giving the children melatonin to make them sleep longer. The investigation involves 26 children over a 2 year period with children from ages 6 years old to infants being involved.
The investigation is continuing and Sheriff Gray commended Investigators Miller and Saltkill on their diligence and hard work.
Arrested are Jaime Clark, Kristin Clark, Jordan Darnell and Ethan Pulley. All are being held on a variety of charges, including child abuse and tampering with evidence.
Jaime Clark, age 45, of Indian Mound, is being held on $62,000 bond. Kristin Clark, age 20, Indian Mound, held on $61,000 bond. Jordan Darnell, age 22, held on $61,000 bond. Ethan Pulley, age 20, Big Rock, held on $10,000 bond.
