
Paris, Tenn.–Henry County’s ten precincts had reported their election results as of 9:15 p.m., with countians voting heavily for Bruce Griffey for 24th District Circuit Court Judge Part 2 and for Neil Thompson for 24th District Attorney General.
The final tally in Henry County showed Griffey receiving 1,069 votes, or 57.69 percent, while Terry Leonard received 582 or 31.1 percent and Vance Dennis at 199 votes for 10.74 percent.
In the Attorney General race, Neil Thompson received 1,398 votes, or 75.85 percent, while Incumbent Matt Stowe received 443 votes or 24.04 percent.
As of 9:30 p.m. Tuesday, the Tennessee Secretary of State’s office was showing Griffey leading in the counties that make up the 24th District in early voting totals: Griffey, 5,622; Leonard, 4,195; Dennis, 4,037.

Carroll: Leonard, 805; Griffey, 739; Dennis, 516.
Decature: Vance, 1044; Griffey, 858; Leonard, 460.

In the District Attorney race, the Secretary of State was posting these totals as of 9:30 p.m.: Thompson ahead with 8,350 or 60.59 percent; and Stowe with 54.32 or 39.41 percent.
