Large Crowd As Rhea School Hosts Fish Fry Parade

rhea-belinda-class

Paris, Tenn.–There was a full house –and then some–for today’s Rhea School World’s Biggest Fish Fry parade. For the first time, the parade included all the students at Rhea, not just the kindergartners. It was the first time the school was able to have the parade for two years, due to Covid. And there were big kids and little kids in the parade. The big kids included Sheriff Josh Frey, Chief Deputy Scott Wyrick, Police Chief Ricky Watson, Fire Chief Michael Williams Paris police officers and sheriff’s deputies. In photo, Teacher Belinda Davis leads her class, which represented the month of February and valentines. The Fish Fry Grand Parade is Friday and all the schools have the day off (as well as public offices and many businesses). (Shannon McFarlin photo).
