Ms. Betty Brummitt Brown, 72, died at her residence Sunday, April 24, 2022.
She was a secretary for Brummitt Funeral Home, Inc. and an operator for McKenzie Medical Center. She is a member of McKenzie First United Methodist Church and a member of the Morning Glory Garden Club. She was born Tuesday, July 26, 1949, in Memphis to H. B. (Jack) and Mary Elizabeth Brummitt. She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother Bobby Brummitt and a grandson Jack Pinson.
She is survived by her daughters Jennifer (Jason) Pinson of McKenzie, Lisa (Mack Doster) Highfil, of Paducah, Kentucky, a brother Hays Brummitt, of McKenzie, and two grandchildren Jacob and Jacey Pinson.
Funeral services will be Friday, April 29, 2022, at 11 a.m. at the First United Methodist Church McKenzie. The family will receive friends Thursday, April 28, 2022, at 5 p.m. – 8 p.m. and Friday, 10 a.m. until service time at the church. Interment is at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Reverend Trisha Trull and Brother Dennis Trull are the officiants.
