Mrs. Bettie Jean Earhart, 86 of Big Rock, Tennessee, passed away Friday, April 22, 2022, at her residence with her loving family by her side.
She was born in Kentucky, the daughter of the late Otis and Betsy Reason. Mrs. Earhart was a homemaker and attended the Bumpus Mills Missionary Baptist Church.
She is survived by her long-time companion David Mitchell, daughter Robin Rodgers and son Timmy Earhart of Big Rock. A daughter, Melissa Mathis preceded her in death. Other family members include her sister June Hurst of Jacksonville, Florida, and brothers Ray Reason and Luther Reason. A sister Sue Simpson and brothers Jesse Reason and Bill Reason also preceded her in death.
Grandchildren include Bonny Blyzes (Steven), Tim Mathis, Daniel Mathis, Dawn Kyle, Savannah King, Tabatha Roberts, Bee Jay Roberts along with several great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday April 26, 2022, at Anglin Funeral Home, Dover. Visitation for the public will begin at 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. with the funeral service beginning at 1 p.m. at the Anglin Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at the Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
