
Robert “Bobby” Broach, 78, of Paris, Tenn., passed away Thursday, April 07, 2022, at AHC Paris Senior Living.
Mr. Broach was born Tuesday, February 9, 1944, in McKenzie, Tenn., to Sidney Euel Broach and Minnie Mae Martin Broach, who both preceded him in death.
Mr. Broach was a U.S. Army veteran, serving two terms in Vietnam, attaining the rank of Sergeant (E5). He drove for Yellow Cab Company formerly of Paris and for Northwest Tennessee Resource Development. Bobby was an avid sports fan, especially football, keeping up with team’s stats and scores. The family said simply that Bobby enjoyed life.
Mr. Broach leaves to cherish his memory a brother: Elmer Broach of Paris, Tenn., a niece: Rhonda Broach (Dave) Purdon, of Paris, Tenn.; and nephews: Andy (Ann) Broach, of Paris, Tenn., Roger (Bonnie) Broach, of Murfreesboro, Tenn. and Ronnie Broach, of Henry, Tennessee.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Sunday, April 10, 2022, at McEvoy Funeral Home with William T. Looney presiding. Burial was held at Hillcrest Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation was held after 1 p.m. Sunday until time of service.
Family and friends served as pallbearers.
