McKenzie, Tenn.–A huge crowd of excited kids and parents were on hand for the first annual McKenzie Chamber’s Easter Egg Drop Saturday at McKenzie City Park. The event was free to everyone. A helicopter made several flyovers dropping over 10,000 Easter Eggs over the park. Children up to age 10 gathered the eggs in a matter of minutes and the eggs contained candy and prizes. A variety of activities, including the Easter Express Train, craft projects and photo ops with Easter inflatables were available through the morning. (City of McKenzie photo).
