Meth, Firearm, Cash Seized During Arrest

Trenton, Tenn.–The Gibson County Sheriff’s Office seized meth, marijuana, firearm and cash during a search of a vehicle near Trenton.

Deputy Jon Lancaster made a traffic stop for a light law violation outside of Trenton city limits Wednesday evening. During the traffic stop Deputy Chris Jones and his K-9 Partner Ross provided backup on the traffic stop. Deputy Jones along with Ross did conduct a open air search around the vehicle and K-9 Ross did give a positive alert on the vehicle.

After searching the vehicle the deputies found 14.4 grams of Methamphetamine, 14.4 grams of Marijuana, a loaded firearm and $31,905 in cash. It was also discovered during the investigation that the suspect was a convicted felon.
