Shawn Freeland, 30, of Paris, died Sunday, March 20, 2022, at his residence.
Shawn had formerly worked for 5 Star Lawn Care. He enjoyed tinkering with his tools, working on cars, and doing things with his hands. He loved his children. Shawn attended Lakeside Christian Fellowship.
Shawn was born August 19, 1991, in Paris, to the late John William Freeland and Erin (Pedro) Spurgeon Anquiano, who survive of Jackson.
He married May 28, 2021, to Heather Quinton Freeland, who survives of Paris.
Along with his mother and wife, he is also survived by three children, Kaibri Freeland, Bentley Farlow, and Kendall Freeland; two sisters, Ashley (Chris) Drake of Oklahoma City, OK, Katie Lynn (Greg) Olive of Adamsville; one brother, P.J. Noble of Jackson; one grandmother who helped raise him, Dorothy Bazzell of Henry; two uncles, Jeff (Tisha) Spurgeon, and Jamie Freeland; and a special cousin, Thomas Valentine.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by one sister, Dawn Freeland: and two aunts, Evelyn Anderson, and Carol Freeland.
Arrangements are being handled by Ridgeway Funeral Home, 201 Dunlap Street, Paris, TN 38242. His visitation will be Thursday, March 24, 2022 from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. at Ridgeway Funeral Home. His funeral service will be Thursday, March 24, 2022, at 2 p.m. at Ridgeway Funeral Home, with Johnny Lee and Matt Greer officiating.
Pallbearers for the service will be Thomas Valentine, Josh Martin, Sr., Brandon Sowers, Rob Neumann, Eric Zickmund, and Ron Price.
Burial will follow in Bethesda Cemetery.
