
Union City, Tenn.–An 18-year-old man and a juvenile were arrested Monday after stealing a vehicle and evading arrest by the Troy Police. Obion County Sheriff’s deputies also found numerous stolen items from automobile burglaries in the county in the 18-year-old’s home.
Camron R. Ware, age 18, of Troy, is being held in the Obion County Jail on multiple counts of burglary, theft, and felony evading.
Ware and a juvenile were arrested on Monday, March 21, 2022, by the Troy Police Department after stealing an automobile in Troy and then evading the officer once he attempted to make a stop on the vehicle.
The Obion County Sheriff’s Office assisted Troy PD in attempting to stop the vehicle when both the juvenile driver and Ware jumped out of the vehicle and began to flee on foot. Both subjects were quickly apprehended and placed in custody.
Investigators with the Obion County Sheriff’s Office conducted a search at Ware’s residence after multiple stolen items were found inside the stolen vehicle. Items reported stolen in previous auto burglaries on Pleasant Valley Road, Ebenezer Road, and Church Street in Rives were found inside Ware’s residence.
Camron Ware is now facing five counts of burglary associated with multiple vehicle burglaries that have been reported throughout Obion County. He will remain in the Obion County Jail until he is arraigned in Obion County General Sessions Court on Wednesday, March 23, 2022.
