Dover, Tenn.–Stewart County Sheriff Frankie Gray found this mess on the highway and after going through the trash was able to find enough evidence to locate the owner. The person responsible for this mess was charged but had to clean it up. Trash should be secured when transporting to dispose of it. Solving littering cases is not easy and time consuming but the Sheriff’s Office has filed several littering charges this past year and will continue to charge individuals who litter the local roads.
