
Paris, Tenn.–A Humboldt man was sentenced Monday in Henry County Circuit Court following his conviction on charges of rape and aggravated statutory rape.
Judge Donald Parish sentenced Justin Barker to serve 100 percent of his sentence.
Barker, age 32, was convicted at the conclusion of a two-day jury trial in January. He was convicted on two counts of rape and one count of aggravated statutory rape. The charges involve a minor whose age is between 13 and 18.
Barker was arrested following an incident at a Henry County resort in 2016.
Assistant District Attorney Rebecca Griffey represented the state and Jackson Attorney David Camp represented Barker.
