Cottage Grove, Tenn.–Henry County Sheriff Josh Frey has announced that James Lane, who had been missing for over 24 hours from his Cottage Grove home, has been found safe.
A Silver Alert was issued by the TBI earlier this afternoon for 83-year-old James Damon Lane and the Henry Co. Sheriff’s Office sought the help of the public in finding him.
Lane had left his home Thursday for Rural King in Martin and did not return.
Frey reported around 8:15 p.m. tonight that Mr. Lane had been found safe and that his family was with him.
