Funeral services for John Clinton (J.C.) Woodard are Thursday, March 17, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at Brummitt McKenzie Funeral Home. The family will receive friends on Thursday 12:00 p.m. until service time. Interment will follow at Everett’s Chapel Cemetery.
Mr. Woodard, 85 years old, died at his home on March 14, 2022. He is a retired welder for Spinks Clay Company, a member of Union Grove Baptist Church and a former member of the TN National Guard. He was born in the Hico Community of McKenzie on April 15, 1936 to Arthur McCall and Cecil Looney Woodard.
He is survived by his wife Patricia Woodard of McKenzie, a daughter Lisa Kaye (Tim) Duncan of McKenzie, son Johnny Wayne (Milagros) Woodard of McKenzie, three sisters Joann Story of Huntingdon and Jean (Skinner) Winstead of McKenzie and Shirley (Wendell) King of Camden, one brother Eddie Ray (Sue) Woodard of Michigan, six grandchildren Cassie (Bryan) Wolski, Brandy (Justin) Nunnery, Clint (Monika) Woodard, Melissa (Brandon) Woodard, Clint ( Jana) Chenoweth and Chad (Tabitha) Chenoweth and 13 great-grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents, and two sisters Marie Presley and Louise Dunlap
