Paris, Tenn.–A packed house was on hand to get to know State Rep. Tandy Darby, R-Greenfield at Friday’s Legislative Update sponsored by the Paris-Henry County Industrial Committee. Darby spoke on his background, his family and reasons for running for State Representative at Paris TCAT. After the session, Henry County Mayor John Penn Ridgeway took Reedy on a tour of Paris Elementary School. Also speaking at Friday’s session were State Senator John Stevens and current State Rep. Bruce Griffey, who earlier announced he would not seek reelection. With the dissolution of the 75th District due to recent redistricting, Henry County will now be represented by Rep. Darby and State Rep. Jay Reedy, R-Erin. Reedy was unable to make it Friday due to St. Patrick’s Day activities in Erin. (Tara Wilson photo).
