Union City, Tenn.–Faculty from Union City Elementary School and student-athletes from UC High School together formed a greeting party at the Boys & Girls Club of Northwest Tennessee Tuesday.
The group answered questions about the upcoming registration for Pre-K and kindergarten for Union City School for the 2022-23 school year.
That registration will take place at UC Elementary School Thursday, Mar. 17, from 9 a.m. until 6 p.m.
Tuesday’s meet-and-greet allowed prospective students and their parents to get additional information and ask questions before the sign-ups.
Children were served a snack and received a balloon while interacting with teachers and student-athletes.
Union City Schools Pre-K Director Laney Rogers, B&G Club CEO Tracey Boucher, and Promethean Foundation administrator Teena Jarmon were among those included in the welcoming committee.
